Job Summary
Manage billing and collection for Council Tax, Business Rates, Adult Social Care Debt, Parking, Road Traffic, Sundry Debt, and Housing Benefit Overpayments in accordance with legislation and local policy. Identify liable parties and liability dates, assess discounts and exemptions, and maintain accurate billing records and database management across all revenue lines. Prioritize workload to achieve team targets while engaging with customers and liaising with other departments to ensure accurate record maintenance. Work within the Revenues & Debt service at Brent Council Customer Access, starting mid-September 2026 on a 36-hour fixed-term contract.
Required Qualifications
