Job Summary
Billing and Coding Specialist responsible for expert coding and billing functions to accurately reimburse service delivery, including Coordination of Benefits audits at external provider agencies. Role is remote with some in-person meetings within Kent County; standard workweek is 40 hours, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm. Preferred certifications as a biller or coder. Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and third-party Insurance along with strong organizational and data-management skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years of medical billing experience or Associate degree in Health Information Technology or related field and two years billing experience
