Job Summary
Process incoming premium payments, ACH transactions, credit card, and loan payments while reviewing payment discrepancies and rejected items from financial institutions. Research and answer billing inquiries from policyholders regarding concerns, group billing, and tax form reviews for college plans. Manage enrollments for ACH and credit card programs, applying premium and loan payments based on policyholder intent. Perform workflow and system analysis to identify cost savings opportunities. Work in an office setting with extended hours during peak workloads or special events.
Required Qualifications

- LOMA courses
- 2-plus years' experience with Gerber Life products and procedures
- 2-plus years' experience writing letters/emails
- Demonstrated quality and customer focus
- Proven ability to do research and be analytical with excellent judgment, problem solving, decision-making and follow-through skills
- Proven ability and accuracy in analyzing/summarizing detailed information
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills with the ability to express ideas and concepts clearly
- Proven ability to work in a multi-task environment
- Knowledge of OnBase
- Knowledge of Mainframe
- Knowledge of LipGloss
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Knowledge of Excel
- Ability to verbally communicate and exchange accurate information to customers and associates on a regular basis
- Visual acuity to read and interpret a variety of correspondence, procedures, reports and forms via paper and electronic documents
- Ability to prepare written correspondence, reports and forms using prescribed formats
- Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to perform substantial movement of wrists, hands, and fingers for continuous computer work
- Availability during extended hours during peak workloads or special projects/events
