Job Summary
Analyze project costs, identify budget variances, and organize job cost review meetings with the project management team. Assist with monthly forecast updates, enter productivity data, and prepare accurate customer invoices while following up on client approvals. Reconcile purchase orders, code payments within JD Edwards, and prepare documentation for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities. This role requires post-secondary education in accounting or finance, 1–3 years of experience in billing or project accounting, and advanced Excel skills. The position offers a salary range of $58,000–$75,000 and is located in Scarborough.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in accounting or Finance
- 1–3 years' experience in billing, project accounting or similar accounting roles including exposure to accounting cycle, financial reporting, billing, and account reconciliations
- Basic understanding of end-to-end financial processes
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
