Job Summary
The Billing Administrative Analyst supports intake of new cases and clients, educates staff on case administration procedures, and maintains billing records and guidelines in a hybrid, New York–based law firm. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining updated records on insurance defense rates and billing policies; managing the case intake process and onboarding into various systems; auditing databases for accuracy; educating legal staff on case administration procedures; creating new matters in accounting, document management, and e-billing platforms; communicating with attorneys and adjusters to obtain information related to openings and closings; and handling related miscellaneous projects across departments. Qualifications emphasize attention to detail, 1+ year law firm experience (preferred), and proficiency in Excel.
