Bilingual Youth Care Specialist

Bilingual Youth Care Specialist provides direct service to youth ages 10-17, supervises residents, maintains a safe environment, transports residents to activities, and supports educational growth. Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring client case plans, participating in trainings, supervising residents during activities, assigning and supervising chores, preparing meals as needed, screening clients and conducting initial intakes, overseeing medication administration for shelter clients, completing required paperwork, and applying dependability, discretion, good judgment, and cultural sensitivity while collaborating with staff to support youth in a structured setting. Must be bilingual in Spanish and possess a high school diploma or equivalent; CPR/First Aid certification and crisis intervention within 90 days are required.
