Bilingual Volunteer/Friendly Visitor - Hospice Patient

Provide respite, companionship, and essential services such as errands and light housekeeping to patients in-home, at the Inpatient Unit, or in Long Term Care Facilities. Offer emotional support and supportive listening while serving as an integral member of the hospice interdisciplinary team. Assist with care planning, document visit activities accurately, and report regularly to the volunteer coordinator. Participate in bereavement follow-ups, complete mandatory annual education, and assist in training new volunteers. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all policies.
