Bilingual Underwriting Operations Associate (12 M Contract)

Job Summary
Conduct initial underwriting analysis and documentation, including summarizing insured operations and running pricing analyses. Handle endorsement referral requests by analyzing issues, resolving them independently, and making recommendations with agency engagement. Establish support needs for new and renewal policies by gathering relevant account information for quoting or issuance. Analyze account-specific information to summarize findings for underwriter review, including loss data and financials. Work as a liaison between field and processing centers to ensure timely account set-up, clearing, and renewal prep activities. Coordinate account processing, lead pre-renewal meetings to build renewal schedules, and independently prepare underwriting exhibits. Manage account documentation to ensure file completeness and quality while communicating with external producers as the first-line point of contact.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Typically a minimum of three years of related work experience in an office environment
- Knowledge of Property and Casualty underwriting including insurance products, policy processing procedures and documentation
- Strong time management, analytical and communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on multiple tasks
- Strong capability to advise and coach others
- Demonstrated customer service experience and the ability to interact with a wide-variety of people on a daily basis in person, via telephone and email
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite as well as other business-related software
