Job Summary
Assist classroom teachers with small group or one-on-one support in reading, mathematics, and writing for students in grades K through 8. Deliver educational services in-school as part of a team consisting of educators, a Program Aide, and an Area Manager. This role focuses on helping children who struggle to succeed in school and life. Schedule is Monday through Friday from 8am to 2:30pm for the 26/27 school year. Bilingual ability is preferred, and experience teaching or tutoring is required.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree
- Teaching assistant or experience working with students
- Fingerprinting by Department of Education required
- Completion of SAVE School and Child Abuse Workshop
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
- Work location is in a school building where employee will need to be able to go up and down stairs
- Frequent standing and ability to raise arms above the head
- Hand dexterity for typing and entering data into a computer
- Applicants must be presently eligible to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Special Education experience preferred
- Grades K-5
- Bilingual preferred
- Prior Completion a Plus and if not then can be provided
