Job Summary
Transport residents of Seton Home Casa De Milagros Program to appointments and the airport, serve as flight escort as needed, and assist with ratio supervision and routine duties. Maintain documentation in the internal database, manage vehicle maintenance and licensing documentation, and perform related administrative tasks. Provide lunch service on weekends/holidays, assist with shelter intake/discharge, process medications per internal systems, and support a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, team-focused environment. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (associate/bachelor’s preferred), valid driver license and insurance, immunization records, background checks, and the ability to work a PM shift with occasional flexibility. Bilingual English/Spanish required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 1-year employment experience in the child welfare field working with children and/or adolescents in a social service setting
- License and Credentials: Reliable transportation; Valid driver license; Valid vehicle insurance
- Immunization/medical: Must provide immunization/shot records; Background checks: state and federal; Tuberculosis screening; Immunization requirements for vaccine-preventable diseases (Varicella, MMR, DTaP/TDap, Influenza)
- Skills: Computer experience; KaleidaCare and MS Office; Trauma-informed care; Excellent communication; Knowledge of human behavior; SAMA completion; Cultural sensitivity; Ability to work independently and in a team; Bilingual English/Spanish
- Travel: 10% local and 10% overnight
