Job Summary
Assess the behavioral health of participants and provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapy services as applicable. Deliver Child-Parent Psychotherapy and infant and early childhood mental health support in our early childhood center. Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish while obtaining and maintaining required certifications such as Domestic Violence training or Trauma-Based Relational Intervention within one year of employment. Licensed clinicians receive reimbursement for renewal fees and supervision; unlicensed candidates obtain licensure within 36 months. Work full-time in a hybrid schedule at Bloomington or Scott Child and Family Center locations. Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or a closely related clinical field
- Current Illinois clinical license (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT)
- Obtains and maintains any applicable certifications based on program model and/or required by program funder, which may include Domestic Violence training, Trauma-Based Relational Intervention, Play Therapy, or other modalities within one year of employment
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle
- The ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
- Eligible for clinical licensure in the state of Illinois (LCSW, LCPC or LMFT) and will obtain, and maintain, clinical Illinois license within 36 months of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with an evidence-based or evidence-informed treatment modality, such as Theraplay, the ARC framework, or other trauma-informed practice
