Job Summary
Bilingual Technical Sales Representative in Spray & Valve coverage for Quebec (South of the St-Lawrence) focused on field consultative sales, generating and closing opportunities, maintaining customer satisfaction, CRM management, and collaboration with management/suppliers. Responsibilities include prospecting and generating leads, developing professional relations with customers, servicing existing accounts and growing the territory, reviewing products/applications with clients, recommending custom solutions, participating in joint calls, and ongoing learning. Requires technical post-secondary education, bilingualism (French/English), outside sales experience in industrial spray/valve products, and strong communication, presentation, and computer skills. Travel includes daily customer/ supplier site visits and up to 20% long-distance travel; valid driver’s license is required.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree/ diploma in a technical field
- French and English, oral and written
- Minimum 1-3 years’ outside sales experience – industrial spray and/or valve products; preferred
- 3-4 years’ experience with industrial system review and calculations
- Hunter mindset with strong technical aptitude
- Interpersonal savvy to build and maintain relationships
- Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word etc.)
- Strong presentation skills and experience preparing professional PowerPoint decks
- Valid Driver’s License
