Bilingual Technical Recruiter (French & English) 12 month contract

Job Summary
Manage the full life cycle of technical recruiting by developing strategies across business units, overseeing job descriptions in French and English, and building candidate pipelines through targeted advertising and networking. Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements, conduct pre-screening, coordinate interviews, and complete reference checks while verifying credentials. Analyze recruitment performance metrics, prepare dashboards, and recommend process improvements to optimize time-to-hire and agency costs. This 12-month contract requires bilingual French/English proficiency and the ability to work in Canada with Reliability Status.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual French/English written and spoken
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited university
- 3-5 years of experience with a successful track record in corporate or agency recruiting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English languages
- High degree of professionalism and unquestionable integrity and work ethic
- Sound judgment, business acumen, problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven experience pipelining prospective candidates using a variety of tools, e.g. candidate databases, social media aggregators
- Proven track record of effectively matching candidates to position requirements
- Expertise and success in building credibility with both hiring managers and candidates
- Knowledge of technology compensation and the ability to analyze compensation packages
- Solid understanding of relevant legislation
- Exceptional ability to promote the Company and its career opportunities and to ensure a very positive candidate experience
- The successful candidate must be able to work in Canada and obtain Reliability Status
Desired Qualifications
- preference given to candidates with a Business, engineering or computer science degree
- CHRP certification
- Full-cycle technical recruiting experience in IT, Telecommunications and Engineering
- Prior experience sourcing for a wide variety of roles within a telecommunications or technical company
- Effective negotiator
