Job Summary
Provide Spanish instruction and English Language Development services to eligible students, and foster social-emotional growth in alignment with district and program requirements. Responsibilities include identifying and remediating learning or adjustment needs, delivering bilingual and ELD curriculum, administering pre- and post-tests, utilizing a wide range of teaching materials, counseling students, engaging with parents and other teachers, participating in curriculum alignment and assessments, maintaining inventory and records, supporting EL identification processes, and advocating for ELs by ensuring access to materials and resources. Requires appropriate licensure with bilingual endorsement and the ability to collaborate with administrators, counselors, and families to support student progress.
Required Qualifications
- Properly licensed, ELEMENTARY K-8, or K-12 Specialty license with Bilingual, Modern Classical Native and Language, and TESOL endorsements.
- Bilingual Endorsement is a must
