Job Summary
Conduct in-person and phone sales by determining customer needs, recommending paint solutions, and resolving concerns to ensure satisfaction. Process transactions accurately, pull products from the sales floor, tint and mix colors to specifications, and stock shelves while maintaining visual standards. Load and unload delivery trucks, clean equipment, and suggest ways to improve sales while meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals. Maintain precise work order files and comply with inventory control procedures. This part-time role at Store #3040 in Carpentersville, IL, starts at $16.40 and requires bilingual communication in English and Spanish, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Candidates must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship and willing to work evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
- Valid, unrestricted Driver's License
- Ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
- Willingness to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
- At least a 'meets expectations' (3) rating on most recent performance appraisal (if internal)
- Completion of all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for current position (if internal)
Desired Qualifications
- At least a High School diploma or GED
- At least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
- Previous work experience selling paint and paint related products
- Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
