Job Summary
Conduct daily customer service by determining needs, answering product questions, and recommending solutions to wholesale and retail clients. Process sales transactions accurately, pull products from inventory, tint and mix paints to specifications, and stock shelves while maintaining visual standards. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals by suggesting ways to improve sales and building trust relationships with customers. Perform physical tasks including loading/unloading delivery trucks, cleaning equipment, and complying with inventory control procedures. Maintain precise work order files and formulas while ensuring maximum client satisfaction. This part-time role at Store #3255 in Round Lake Beach, IL, starts at $16.40 and requires bilingual communication in English and Spanish, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
- Valid, unrestricted Driver's License
- Ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
- Willingness to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
- If internal to Sherwin-Williams: received at least a 'meets expectations' (3) rating on most recent performance appraisal
- If internal to Sherwin-Williams: completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for current position
Desired Qualifications
- At least a High School diploma or GED
- At least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
- Previous work experience selling paint and paint related products
- Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
