Job Summary
Conduct in-person and phone sales by determining customer needs, recommending paint solutions, and resolving concerns to ensure satisfaction. Process transactions accurately, pull products from inventory, tint and mix paints to specifications, and stock shelves while maintaining visual standards. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals by suggesting ways to improve sales and complying with inventory control procedures. Assist with deliveries, load trucks, and clean equipment as needed. Work all scheduled hours including evenings and weekends at Store #1768 in West Bloomfield, MI, with a valid driver's license and bilingual Spanish/English skills required.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish and English
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
- Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
- Valid, unrestricted Driver's License
- Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
- Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- At least a High School diploma or GED
- At least one (1) year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
- Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
- Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
