Job Summary
Bilingual Speech Therapist (Pediatric) provides speech and language services to patients in a home-health setting under physician orders. Responsibilities include assessing and evaluating therapeutic needs, developing and directing the plan of care, implementing speech-language pathology treatment, documenting clinical notes weekly, and collaborating with physicians, families, and care teams to support the patient’s communication goals. The role involves regularly reevaluating progress, maintaining professional standards and agency policies, and traveling to patients’ homes for visits. Requires Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, state licensure in good standing, ASHA CCC-SLP, CPR certification, and relevant clinical experience. Located in Dallas, TX with travel to home health visits; in-person work at patient homes.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current License and in good standing with State Licensing Board
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology by ASHA
- CPR certification per state regulations
- Professional experience per state regulations
