Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive bilingual evaluations using culturally and linguistically appropriate assessment tools and provide speech and language therapy in the student's dominant language. Accurately document assessment and service delivery in accordance with IDEA and district requirements. Collaborate with families, bilingual educators, and multidisciplinary team members to support student progress, while participating in ARD/IEP meetings to contribute compliant, data-driven recommendations. Deliver culturally and linguistically responsive services in English and the student's primary language to support communication development and academic success.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Texas SLP license and ASHA CCC-SLP
- Demonstrated bilingual proficiency (English + Target Language)
