Job Summary
Evaluate pediatric patients for receptive and expressive language, speech fluency, vocal competence, articulation, and auditory skills. Conduct screenings, direct treatment, and family training to reinforce performance. Coordinate care with office staff and physicians while maintaining records and managing supplies. Refer patients to external resources as needed. Participate in Quality Assurance, mentoring, and continuing education. Maintain adequate caseload and serve as backup for other providers. Requires Master's degree, state licensure, valid driver's license, and CPR certification. Offers sign-on bonus, full benefits, and flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state-issued professional licensure
- Valid state driver license
- CPR certified
- Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric clinical experience preferred
- Home health experience preferred
- Ability to read and write in simple correspondence with effective public speaking in small groups
- Excellent critical thinking and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to interpret instruction with the ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, record keeping and routine database activity
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
