Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills in both English and Spanish. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address communication goals for K-12 students. Provide direct therapy services individually and in small groups targeting articulation, phonology, and social communication. Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapy strategies into Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to update progress and recommend home practice. Maintain accurate and confidential records of sessions and assessments. Start August 2026 for the 26/27 school year in Katy, TX, working part-time (20 hours/week) onsite.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certification or proficiency in the target language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, etc.)
  • Previous experience working as a bilingual speech-language pathologist in a school or educational setting
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and therapy techniques in both English and the target language
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, school staff, and related service providers
  • Proficiency in assessment, therapy planning, and documentation
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and move around in various areas of the school facility
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents both verbally and in writing
  • Must be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Must have the physical stamina to supervise and engage with students throughout the school day

Desired Qualifications

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
