Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive bilingual assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for K-12 students with communication disorders in English and Spanish. Provide direct speech-language therapy services individually and in small groups, targeting articulation, phonology, and social communication skills. Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into IEPs and classroom activities, while communicating progress updates to parents and caregivers. Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and assessments. Work onsite in Katy, TX for the 26/27 school year in a part-time capacity (20 hours/week).
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification or proficiency in the target language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, etc.)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Previous experience working as a bilingual speech-language pathologist in a school or educational setting
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and therapy techniques in both English and the target language
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, school staff, and related service providers
- Proficiency in assessment, therapy planning, and documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
