Job Summary
Provide personal care, grooming, and hygiene assistance including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting for individuals with complex medical needs. Administer medications, reposition residents, and manage daily activities while supporting linkages to community recreation and transportation. Handle financial tasks such as banking assistance and petty cash reconciliation, and maintain clean living environments through laundry and room upkeep. Document progress in Twinsis, implement behavior support plans, and communicate regularly with families. Work weekends in a residential home setting with a valid Maryland CNA license and one year of caregiving experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CNA License for the state of Maryland
- At least 1 year of related experience working with individuals in a caregiving setting
- Current Valid Driver's License (non-provisional) with at least 2 years in good standing
- Ability to successfully complete training requirements of The Arc
- Must be able to perform a two-person lift or assist in lifting individuals of medium build
- Must be able to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations
- Must be available for weekends
- Must be bilingual Spanish-speaking
