Job Summary
Provide complete patient assessments, including vital signs, and gather subjective and objective data. Document findings in patient records using computer systems while assisting providers with consultations, treatments, and follow-up care. Execute medical regimens, manage medication reconciliation, and offer health counseling to patients and families. Operate medical equipment, maintain supplies, and ensure compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA guidelines. Handle triage calls, referrals, insurance pre-certification, and general office tasks like keyboarding and filing. Work 30 hours per week in a medical office environment, interacting with patients for the majority of the day. Bilingual Spanish and English required.
Required Qualifications
- RN with a current compact nursing license
- Bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as state, federal requirements
- Must be able to interpret and implement the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures of Proactive MD
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at their work area for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to lift office products and supplies up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of clinic nursing experience preferred
