Job Summary
Seeking a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Case Worker to support older adults with accessing services, benefits counseling, and community connections at Queens Community House.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with older adults or providing case assistance services.
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (verbal and written) required.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of benefits/entitlements and community resources strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management tools.
