Bilingual Senior BI Developer & Tech Lead

Job Summary
Lead end-to-end delivery of cross-functional BI initiatives across Japan, US, and Europe, managing scope, timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations. Architect and build scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Azure Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and ADLS Gen2, while designing and governing Power BI semantic models and dashboards. Develop Python-based automation and data quality frameworks, enforcing Git, code review, and testing best practices. Partner directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical roadmaps and align analytics to measurable outcomes. Define BI development standards and support models to ensure platform performance, security, and compliance. Requires 8+ years in BI/Analytics Engineering with strong hands-on experience in Azure Databricks, Power BI, and Python.

- 8+ years in BI/Analytics Engineering
- 3+ yrs in a technical lead/senior role
- Strong hands-on experience: Azure Databricks
- Strong hands-on experience: Power BI
- Strong hands-on experience: DAX
- Strong hands-on experience: Data Modeling
- Strong hands-on experience: Deployment Pipelines
- Strong hands-on experience: Python
- Strong hands-on experience: SQL
- Business-level Japanese (JLPT N3+)
- English (TOEIC700+)
