Job Summary
Provide individual, group, and family therapy, administer assessments, and assist in creating individual education and behavioral plans for kindergarten through 6th grade students. Work collaboratively within a transdisciplinary team to facilitate understanding of clinical issues with classroom staff and create a healing-centered school environment. Engage caregivers in the treatment process through regular discussions on student progress and needs while providing crisis intervention, risk screening, and service linkage. Complete required data collection and service documentation to measure effectiveness and inform team decision-making. Communicate effectively with families and outside agencies, utilizing crisis communication and de-escalation techniques as per Seneca's training. This role supports the Unconditional Education West Coast Connections Program's Multi-Tiered Systems of Support and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports across Contra Costa County.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, professional clinical counseling, psychology or related licensure-eligible field
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure with the applicable regulatory agency responsible for licensing, examination, and enforcement of competent mental health practice standards
- Bilingual Spanish/ Spanish Language Capacity
- At least 21 years of age
- Reliable transportation to and from the school site and other occasional meeting locations
- TB test clearance
- Fingerprinting clearance
