Job Summary
As a Bilingual School Counselor, design, implement, and deliver social-emotional learning (SEL) initiatives and counseling services aligned with CASEL frameworks. Provide Tier 1 SEL instruction in classrooms, offer short- and long-term individual and group counseling, and respond to crises affecting student well-being. Collaborate with Student Support Teams (SST), MTSS, IEP, 504, and families to monitor progress, develop individualized support plans, and guide data-informed decisions. Manage a structured counseling schedule to serve students across tiers, act as a liaison with families, and coordinate with school staff and external partners to foster a safe, inclusive school climate. Contribute to professional development, ensure compliance with reporting requirements (e.g., CPS), and support school-wide wellness and equity initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in School Counseling (or related field) and must possess a valid Wisconsin DPI certification/licensure as a School Counselor
