Job Summary
Bilingual Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) providing in-home and community-based behavioral support in Elizabeth, NJ. Part-time role (2-20 hours per week) with 2-4 hour shifts after 3 pm during the school year and starting as early as 8:30 am in summer. Responsibilities include implementing interventions from the Individual Support Plan, environmental arrangement, proactive strategies, acquisition of functional skills, reduction of problem behaviors, prompt documentation of visit notes, compliance with timelines, crisis prevention and intervention, adherence to agency policies, required trainings, and in-home/in-community/in-center service delivery. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; complete NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months and pursue RBT Certification within 6 months. Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged. Valid NJ driver’s license and background checks required.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- A pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen is required for this role.
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates are encouraged to apply
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you must at least have one year of supervised experience in implementing behavior support plans for individuals who have developmental disabilities
