Job Summary
Bilingual Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) delivering in-home, in-community, or in-center behavioral support to youth with developmental disabilities in Hudson County, NJ. The role involves implementing interventions from the Individual Support Plan, environmental arrangement, proactive strategies, acquisition of functional skills (including activities of daily living), reduction of problem behaviors, and documenting visit notes per policy. Typical schedule ranges from 2–20 hours per week across 2–4 hour shifts after 3 pm during the school year and mornings in summer, with services available any day of the week. The candidate must hold a valid RBT certification, be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship), complete NJ CSOC within 6 months, pursue RBT certification within 6 months, possess a NJ driver’s license, pass background checks, and be bilingual in Spanish preferred. Training and benefits are provided, with flexible part-time opportunities in Jersey City, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Behavioral Technician Certification
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment drug screen
