Job Summary
Bilingual Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) needed in Essex County, NJ for part-time home- and community-based services. Responsibilities include visiting clients at home or in the community to support caregivers and youth, implementing interventions from individual support plans (environmental arrangement, proactive strategies, acquisition of functional skills including ADLs, reduction of problem behaviors), submitting notes promptly, adhering to timelines, crisis prevention/intervention, following agency policies, participating in trainings, and collaborating with Respite Care and Behavioral Assistant cases. Requires strong communication, reliability, independence and teamwork, and a foundation in evidence-based interventions for individuals with developmental disabilities. Certifications in progress (NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months; pursuing RBT certification within 6 months) and a valid NJ driver's license are required. Required Qualifications

- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment drug screen required
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates encouraged to apply
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) requires at least one year of supervised experience in implementing behavior support plans for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
