Job Summary

Provide strengths-based skill training and crisis intervention services to adults and youth in home, office, or community settings. Deliver one-on-one sessions focusing on communication, problem-solving, anger management, and independent living skills while collaborating with case managers to implement service plans. Document all progress notes, crisis hours, and client data in electronic records adhering to Texas Administrative Code requirements. Maintain regular contact with families and community partners, including court and tribal agencies, to ensure comprehensive support. Participate in monthly trainings and professional development as needed. This role requires a bilingual Registered Nurse with a bachelor's degree and two years of intensive therapeutic experience with children or adolescents facing behavioral challenges.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum number of hours that is equivalent to a major in psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human growth and development, physician assistant, gerontology, special education, educational psychology, early childhood education, or early childhood intervention
  • Registered nurse
  • At least 2 years of experience providing therapeutic services for children/adolescents with behavioral challenges on an intensive level
  • Bilingual (speaks Spanish)
  • Own vehicle
  • Cell phone
  • Access to a computer/laptop at home (laptop or access to a computer and printer outside of office use)
