Bilingual Psychiatrist (English/French) – Virtual Veteran Medical Cannabis Consultations in Quebec

Job Summary
Conduct virtual specialist consultations for military veterans and RCMP members regarding medical cannabis dosage and coverage through Veterans Affairs Canada. Independently assess the Veteran's mental health condition, review relevant clinical information, and provide a clinical opinion on treatment plan appropriateness. Deliver approximately 3–4 patients per hour in a 100% virtual setting, with a minimum commitment of one day or two half-days per week. Compensation ranges from $500–$750 per IME. Requires Quebec licensure, bilingual proficiency in English and French, and a background in trauma-related mental health.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to practice in Quebec
- Bilingual in English and French
- Minimum 1 day (or 2 half days) per week, or equivalent of ~10 patients/week
- Patient Volume: ~3–4 patients/hour
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with members of the military community
- Background in trauma-related mental health (PTSD, anxiety, depression, etc.)
- Experience writing IMEs
