Job Summary
Provide culturally responsive psychiatric services in an outpatient setting as a Bilingual Psychiatric PA; supervise medication management, psychoeducation, ADHD coaching, and parent support within a multidisciplinary team; work primarily in-person in Durham and Siler City, NC; must be bilingual in Spanish and English; includes potential evenings and some weekend events; salary starts at $85,000 with comprehensive benefits; required NC PA license and accreditation, with preference for 2+ years post-graduate psychiatric experience; active collaboration with schools and community systems.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current Physician Assistant certification
- Eligible to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of North Carolina
- Bilingual fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English
- Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacology or demonstrated willingness to develop expertise through training and supervision
- Experience or strong interest in psychiatry and behavioral health treatment
- Preferred: Minimum of two year’s post-graduate clinical experience
- Psychiatric, behavioral health, family medicine, pediatrics, or ADHD-related experience
- Experience working with Latino communities
- Experience working within multidisciplinary treatment settings
