Job Summary
Conduct psychiatric diagnostic evaluations and manage psychopharmacological treatment for mental health and substance use disorder patients remotely. Deliver supportive psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams including PCPs and peer support staff. Document validated rating scales, treatment plans, and care coordination for patients across all age spectrums. Ensure proficiency in medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder and maintain bilingual communication in English and Spanish. Requires active medical and DEA licenses in Oregon and primary residence, plus 2+ years of psychiatric PA experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Medical License in state of primary residence and state of medical services being provided
- 2+ years of experience as a Psychiatric Advance Practice Provider (Required)
- DEA License
- Bilingual- English and Spanish (Required)
- A patient-first mindset
- Comfortability to work in fully-remote environment
- Ability to sit for extended periods during working hours
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for using a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment
- Adequate vision for reading computer screens and documents
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for virtual meetings and correspondence
- Sufficient hearing ability for participating in phone calls or virtual meetings
- Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions with reliable internet connectivity
- Active or willing to obtain a license in Oregon in addition to holding an active license in state of primary residence
Desired Qualifications
- Data Waivered (or willingness to learn) to provide medication-assisted treatment to those with OUD in active withdrawal or recovery
