Job Summary
Teach community health promotion programs focusing on chronic disease and diabetes education at various locations across Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties. Implement programs following technical protocols and curricula while adapting messages for diverse audiences. Enter program data, handle equipment and supplies, and maintain accurate records to safeguard information and monies. Ensure participant and employee safety while completing mandatory trainings and self-education modules. Collaborate with Program Coordinators, office staff, and community organizations to deliver service excellence. Deliver instruction and facilitate group discussions in both English and Spanish.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Ability to deliver instruction, facilitate group discussions, and communicate effectively in both languages
- Strong written communication skills in English and Spanish
- Language proficiency
- 2 years of relevant experience teaching in health field, education field, Public Health, Community Health
