Job Summary
Lead, train, and mentor production associates while overseeing CHEP pallet repair operations to ensure quality specifications are met. Drive production output, efficiency, and safety by monitoring workflow, adjusting labor plans to reduce bottlenecks, and reinforcing OSHA standards throughout the facility. Conduct coaching, performance evaluations, and corrective actions as needed, while coordinating materials, tools, and equipment to support operational efficiency. Track production metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives and partner with operations leadership, maintenance, and office teams to keep production running smoothly. Maintain accurate operational records and ensure compliance with company processes and standards.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial operations
- 2+ years of leadership experience as a Production Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, Manufacturing Lead, Shift Supervisor, or similar leadership role
- Strong ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead from the production floor
- Ability to troubleshoot operational bottlenecks and improve workflow efficiency
- Working knowledge of OSHA standards and safety compliance
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and production-related systems
- Flexibility to support production needs during peak operational periods
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent hands-on leadership experience accepted
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading bilingual English/Spanish production teams strongly preferred
