Job Summary
Lead sourcing and procurement of forklifts, material handling equipment, and warehouse operational equipment to support nationwide warehouse operations. Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified suppliers while conducting market research to benchmark pricing, quality, and service capabilities. Develop sourcing strategies to improve cost efficiency and build long-term relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and strategic vendors. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties, and delivery schedules, then partner with Operations, Warehouse Management, Facilities, Finance, and Legal teams to resolve issues and monitor industry trends. This role is based in Fontana, CA, Port Reading, NJ, Buford, GA, or Katy, TX, with a salary of $70k-$100K.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or purchasing experience
- Proven experience in supplier development and commercial negotiations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills
- Experience managing multiple suppliers and procurement projects
- Professional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience purchasing forklifts, warehouse equipment, industrial equipment, or material handling equipment
- Background in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or supply chain
- Experience working with equipment manufacturers or authorized distributors
- Knowledge of procurement contracts and vendor management
- Experience supporting multi-site or nationwide procurement
