Bilingual Premium Surgery Counselor

Job Summary

Schedule all patient surgeries and pre-operative appointments with referring physicians, surgical facilities, ophthalmologists, and technicians. Build relationships with patients by educating them on lens and technology options, overcoming objections, and closing surgical packages. Prepare surgical charts, label documents per ASC Coordinator specifications, and act as a liaison between patients, surgeons, and facilities for all pre-operative preparations. Collect pertinent information including bookings, lens orders, insurance, H&Ps, and signed consent forms to transfer to the surgical facility. Answer telephone inquiries from patients, families, or referring physicians and assist patients in obtaining financing if needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least one-year of experience in a medical practice
