Job Summary
Conduct physical examinations and establish medical histories to determine donor suitability for plasma donation. Build rapport with donors to ensure customer satisfaction while evaluating and managing donor injuries and adverse events. Provide donor education regarding general health and counseling on unacceptable test results, ensuring continued donor suitability by reviewing illness history and medications. Assist in employee training and administer the Hepatitis Vaccine program. Maintain donor and staff confidentiality and remain aware of potential hazards. Requires current EMT or Paramedic certification, CPR certification, and ability to work standing or sitting for 2 to 4 hours daily with frequent neck movement. Required Qualifications
- Currently certified/licensed in the state of employment as a Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic
- HS diploma or GED
- Current CPR certification
