Job Summary
Recommend, document, and contribute to the evolution of best practices in learning, instructional design, quality assurance, and educational technologies. Translate the L&D vision into ways of working, common reference points, tools, and standards for Claims teams across Canada. Coach and guide instructional designers in their pedagogical thinking, strategy choices, deliverable improvements, and skills development. Contribute to quality assurance practices to ensure consistency, relevance, and effectiveness of learning solutions. Explore and integrate innovative approaches, including responsible artificial intelligence use, to enhance design and collaboration. Analyze learning needs and operational challenges to guide relevant pedagogical approaches. Provide targeted expertise in designing, reviewing, or improving learning solutions when subject-matter expertise is required. Collaborate with partners, subject-matter experts, and operational teams to ensure solutions are aligned and sustainable.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in educational technology, instructional design or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a complex, operational or transformation-focused environment
- Strong expertise in learning, instructional design, quality assurance and educational technologies
- Experience contributing to the structuring or evolution of practices, ways of working, standards or quality frameworks in an L&D environment
- Strong working knowledge of design, collaboration and innovation tools such as Microsoft 365, Articulate 360, LMS, AI tools or similar technologies
- Demonstrated ability to act as a reference point for a team, influence practices and guide skills development
- Bilingualism (French / English)
