Bilingual Plasma Center Nurse (RN)

Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) role responsible for determining donor eligibility, managing donor adverse events, reviewing laboratory test results, and notifying donors of unsuitable test results. Works under the Center Manager and Center Physician to support plasma center operations, ensure compliance with plasma donation regulations, and contribute to EHS initiatives. Responsibilities include informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion review, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and assessment of donor safety including handling donor reactions. The role may involve supporting vaccination programs (Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu), managing employee incidents, and potentially serving as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS/Medical Affairs. Must maintain licensure/certification requirements and complete required FDA training.
