Job Summary
Serve as the primary People & Culture partner for assigned frontline leaders, employees, and field operations teams by regularly traveling to construction sites and operational locations throughout the U.S. to build trusted relationships and provide practical people solutions. Conduct workplace investigations involving policy violations, attendance concerns, and employee complaints, while coaching supervisors and forepersons on performance management, attendance, and employee relations. Deliver training and coaching to frontline leaders on people leadership practices, compliance requirements, and respectful workplace expectations. Support workforce planning discussions, talent identification, and retention planning for assigned client groups, and act as the voice of field employees by providing feedback and recommendations to People & Culture leadership. Bilingual in English and Spanish with 3+ years of HR experience, including 1+ year supporting construction or field operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of Human Resources, Employee Relations, HR Generalist, or HR Advisory experience
- 1+ years of experience supporting construction, field operations, manufacturing, skilled trades, or geographically dispersed workforces
- 1+ years' experience conducting workplace investigation and managing employee relation matters
- Ability to travel 30-50%
- A valid drivers license
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Strong understanding of employee relations and workforce support practices
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in both English and Spanish
- Ability to conduct employee interviews, investigations, coaching conversations, and training sessions in English and Spanish
- Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
- Ability to coach frontline leaders and influence positive outcomes
- Strong investigation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in field environments
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
- Strong HRIS and Microsoft Office skills

- Participate in People & Culture projects and continuous improvement initiatives

- Support employment compliance activities across the United States and Canada, including identifying, assessing, and escalating compliance risks and policy concerns
