Bilingual Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist - Northshore

Job Summary

Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patients' needs, then develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders. Create home exercise programs in partnership with caregivers and collaborate with various providers to coordinate care within the medical neighborhood. Complete a minimum number of weekly patient visits while meeting deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, and call logs. Adhere to all agency policies, rules, regulations, and federal, state, and local laws governing home-health pediatric speech language pathology. This bilingual role serves families in Northshore through our North Houston division, offering full-time, part-time, or PRN flexibility with mileage reimbursement and access to continuing education.

Required Qualifications

  • A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business
  • Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser)

Desired Qualifications

  • 3+ years as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
  • Experience in a home-health setting
  • Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.)
