Job Summary
As a Bilingual Patient Services Representative, you will provide reception and administrative support to patients and visitors under the Practice Manager, guiding patient flow and ensuring excellent customer service. Responsibilities include greeting and directing visitors, taking messages, providing basic referral information, screening for infectious diseases, collecting and entering demographic and insurance data into the EMR, verifying benefits, collecting payments, scheduling follow-up appointments, ensuring PPE and infection-control compliance, and supporting insurance verification and patient access to services. Requires strong communications in English and another language, familiarity with HIPAA/privacy rules, experience with EMR/data entry, and the ability to travel between centers as needed. The role supports a range of levels (I–III) with corresponding experience requirements and salary bands.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- 0-2 years of customer service experience for Level I; 2-4 years for Level II; 4-6 years for Level III (Bachelor’s degree may substitute)
- Experience with Microsoft Office and/or data entry
- Ability to safeguard confidentiality of medical records and comply with HIPAA and privacy/security regulations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to travel between centers
