Bilingual Patient Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary
Coordinate and manage tasks to obtain prescription drug coverage for patients; liaise with insurance companies, physician offices, and healthcare professionals to maximize reimbursement; organize submissions and paperwork to public/private/federal funding programs; foster relationships with clinics; coordinate pharmacy processes once funding is obtained; develop in-depth knowledge of funding mechanisms. Bilingual English/French required; prior reimbursement experience and healthcare/pharmaceutical/insurance industry exposure are assets. 2+ years in customer service; proficient with Microsoft and Google tools; strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills; capable of working independently or in a team; comfortable with 8 AM–8 PM EST rotating shifts; remote work available within Canada (Oakville, ON; Quebec, QC; Moncton, NB). We value attention to detail, issue resolution, and an innovative approach.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual English/French is a requirement
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer/client service
- Prior experience in a reimbursement role is a strong asset
- Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance industry is an asset
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications (Google apps, Word, Excel)
- Professional/courteous/efficient telephone manner
- Ability to organize time, set priorities, and multi-task
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
