Job Summary
Evaluate, administer remedial treatments, and conduct screenings for pediatric patients within the home health setting. Direct patients and caregivers in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, or enhance performance while providing family training on goals and discharge planning. Coordinate care with office staff, consult physicians on progress, and maintain appropriate records. Maintain supplies, participate in Quality Assurance programs, and mentor students and new hires. Manage caseloads with appropriate productivity and serve as a backup service provider as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state-issued professional licensure
- Valid state driver license
- CPR certified
- Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements

- Pediatric clinical experience
- Home health experience
- Ability to read and write in simple correspondence with effective public speaking in small groups
- Excellent critical thinking and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to interpret instruction with the ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, record keeping and routine database activity
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
