Job Summary
Evaluate, administer remedial treatments, and conduct screenings for pediatric patients within home health settings. Direct patients and caregivers in tasks to restore performance while providing counseling on goals, home programming, and discharge planning. Coordinate care with office staff, physicians, and other disciplines, maintaining records and referring families to appropriate resources. Participate in Quality Assurance, present public education functions, mentor new hires, and serve as a backup service provider. Maintain adequate caseloads and supplies while demonstrating independent judgment. Requires a Master's degree, current licensure, and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state-issued professional licensure
- Valid state driver license
- CPR certified
- Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements

- Pediatric clinical experience
- Home health experience
- Ability to read and write in simple correspondence with effective public speaking in small groups
- Excellent critical thinking and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to interpret instruction with the ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, record keeping and routine database activity
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
