Job Summary
Administer medications and vaccines accurately while documenting in the EHR, and manage all aspects of the agency's medication inventory, including supply verification, distribution, and destruction. Coordinate the Vaccine for Children program by monitoring, ordering, and controlling inventory. Provide clinical services by verifying patient information, reviewing medical history, taking vital signs, and assisting providers during examinations. Prepare laboratory specimens, perform basic tests, sterilize instruments, and maintain an aseptic environment. Establish and maintain the office operation, including comprehensive filing systems for correspondence and patient records. Complete medical support duties such as data entry, referral tracking, and insurance verifications.
Required Qualifications
- Medication Aide Certification
- current certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- valid driver's license
- ability to utilize own transportation for work purposes
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) verbal and written skills
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of experience in a medical office or related experience
