Job Summary
Screen and refer all incoming calls and visitors to ensure accurate communication, then schedule appointments for patient referrals as requested by physicians. Procure referrals, process mail, and log all referrals according to established guidelines while posting numbers to patient accounts. Enter charges accurately, open and distribute daily mail, and ensure accurate patient information is entered into the EPIC system. Maintain front office inventory, prepare daily deposits, and forward monthly reports to the Central Business Office in a timely manner. This role supports Northeast Georgia Health System's mission of improving community health across five hospitals and outpatient locations.
